FAQ

How can I apply?

When will the training take place?

  • It will be held twice a week on Saturdays and Sundays, for a total of 8 sessions.
  • Level 1 & 2: Sat 16:00–19:00 / Sun 09:00–11:30
  • Level 3: Sat 16:00–19:00 / Sun 06:00–11:30

What are the training or lesson fees?

  • The CLUBD Junior program is fully sponsored by the Ddimdol Foundation.
  • Students selected after the final announcement are required to submit a KRW 50,000 donation to confirm participation. (A donation receipt will be issued.)
  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided for participating students on Sundays throughout the program.

How should I get to the golf course?

Transportation to the registered golf course is to be arranged individually.

What is the eligible age range for application?

  • Students from 1st grade in elementary school to 3rd grade in middle school are eligible to apply.
  • Students who will be in 1st to 6th grade of elementary school as of March 2026.
  • 2Students who will be in 1st to 3rd grade of middle school as of March 2026.

Can students who are new to golf apply?

  • LEVEL 1: Elementary & middle school students – Beginner level
  • LEVEL 2: Elementary & middle school students – With round experience
  • LEVEL 3: Elementary & middle school students – KGA ranked players

What if I am registered as a player with the Korea Golf Association (KGA) but do not have a ranking due to limited tournament experience?

Please indicate in the results section that you are registered as a KGA player but do not have a ranking, and include any official tournament scores or records of awards.

If I miss more than two sessions due to personal reasons, will I be unable to complete the training?

We require a minimum attendance of 85% to complete the program. This policy will be explained in detail during the orientation before the training begins.

What is the participation fee?

  • All program fees are free of charge. However, to confirm participation, a donation of KRW 50,000 is required after the final announcement.
  • Program materials will be provided, including a cap, T-shirt, notebook, and eco bag.

Who are the coaches?

Our coaches are full or associate members of the KPGA/KLPGA who have completed specialized training for junior golf education.

Do I need to purchase golf clubs before the training?

If you already own personal golf clubs, you are welcome to bring them. However, if you don't have any, CLUBD provides junior golf clubs, so there is no need to purchase them separately.

What should I wear for the training, and is there anything I need to bring?

Please wear a collared t-shirt, pants with pockets, and comfortable athletic shoes. You will need to bring the CLUBD Junior bag, cap, notebook, and ball marker provided during the orientation.

Do Level 1 and 2 students take classes together with Level 3 (Elite) students?

  • While classes are held at the same location, they are conducted separately.
  • Students in Level 1 and 2 will learn the fundamentals of golf, as well as proper manners and etiquette on the golf course.
  • Level 3 (Elite) students will focus on practice-oriented rounds.

If I applied for this session but wasn't selected, can I apply for the next session?

Yes, you can. However, applying to multiple locations within the same session is not allowed.

Do only Level 3 students participate in round play? Do Level 1 and 2 students not have round lessons?

Level 1 and 2 students will have round lessons on Saturdays, while Sundays will focus mainly on short game practice.

What should I do if I want to take the CLUBD Junior program again after completing it?

In principle, the Ddimdol Foundation limits re-enrollment after program completion in order to provide educational opportunities to more students.
However, depending on the purpose of the program, some players sponsored or recommended by the foundation may be exceptionally allowed to participate again.
